Ski Kirkwood

December 20, 2008 by TrailsTV

Kirkwood, about an hour south of Lake Tahoe, is my favorite ski resort around the Lake Tahoe basin. With some of the deepest snow every year, Kirkwood offers a wide range of great trails. I know a few peeps that work there, the marketing director, and a couple monkeys, but that’s not the reason I like the hill. The resort is amazing, I realize they’re changing the whole resort to include all the other “destination resort” stuff you can possibly think of. Most of which you can do now anyways, mountain biking, hiking. Actually the whole Christmas Valley is a very beautiful area.
